new york city mental health film festival

The NYC Mental health film festival is in its fifth year. This year's theme is work. Last year we showed two films about working while one has a psychiatric disability and one light hollywood film. The feature film, Working Like Crazy delved into the lives of people with psychiatric disabilities who choose to work. The opening film Work Works discussed how people with disabilities can work at any stage in our recovery. Lively discussion followed first two films.

Tickets are $7 dollars at the door and $5 dollars in advance. Tickets cover all films, breakfast and lunch.
